Our factory in Tuscany
At our facility located in the heart of Tuscany, we handle over 1,750 tons of seeds every year, thanks to efficient and highly specialized processing and packaging systems.
All our seeds undergo rigorous quality controls, including regular germination and varietal purity tests. Through this constant monitoring, we maintain up-to-date, verified data that allow us to offer only seeds meeting the highest industry standards.

Beans
We are an international seed company specializing in the production of vegetable and forage seeds worldwide. Through a dedicated team of agronomists, we directly oversee crop development from sowing to harvest, ensuring full control of quality and consistency at every stage of the production process.
In particular, we are highly specialized in the production of bean seeds and are a leading company in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in their production and marketing. Each year, we renew our varietal lines to guarantee consistently high quality standards for our customers.
In addition to our proprietary range, we also produce contract seed crops, offering tailored and fully traceable solutions throughout the entire supply chain.
Our portfolio includes more than 40 bean varieties, carefully selected for agronomic performance, yield, and final product quality.
Alfalfa
Alfalfa is universally recognized as the queen of forage crops due to its high nutritional value and remarkable agronomic adaptability. Its widespread cultivation confirms its ability to perform across a wide range of environments, while avoiding sub-acid soils and waterlogging conditions.
Sgaravatti Sementi is strongly committed to the development of the alfalfa sector, an area in which the company is experiencing significant growth driven by continuous investments in varietal selection, seed production, and supply chain enhancement.
Within its product range, Sgaravatti Sementi offers selected alfalfa varieties designed to combine productivity, adaptability and forage quality, including Manto and Maraviglia, derived from the selection of several varieties, mainly originating from Tuscany.
In addition to these two varieties, Sgaravatti Sementi produces and markets many other alfalfa varieties and can carry out seed multiplication in Italy directly from customer-supplied stockseed.
Production can be supplied either as raw seed or as coated seed, using fully eco-compatible and biodegradable materials.
